Doug Englert, Owner
Locally Grown Trees Since 1999

Hi, I'm Doug

I buy bareroot trees, then plant and nuture them to provide locally grow trees on my farm. By growing on my farm the trees are acclimated to elevations from 600' to 7,000' which makes them better for your transplanting them onto your property. Other nurseries and tree farms grow their trees at a lower elevation which makes it tough for the tree to survive when planted in Mohave County.

With 35 years of experience I understand and can share with you how to successfully grow trees on your property. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of irrigation tips and how to make the best soil. I also have bulk potting soil for sale.

Having your own trees can offer both a quality appearance and delicious tasting fruits. Fruit trees make a great hobby for your property and can provide a lot of pleasure eating the results.

Some, such as pear, apple and plum, actually require chill hours ( a chill hour is a temapature of 45 degrees for one hour ) weather in order to set fruit. Many fruit trees also require a second tree as a pollinator. I have the knowledge to assist you.

MD Trees has over 2,000 pine and Christmas trees
and over 1,00 fruit trees, nut trees, shade trees and flowering trees to choose from all year long.
